Pets may be possible, including dogs, with a small additional fee. There is a fenced backyard.
Short-term furnished space is available for visitors to MSU and the Lansing area, in 4-bedroom 3-bathroom home. No lease is required, and you can stay for whatever duration you need. The house is shared by graduate students and professionals. Very close to MSU, just 0.6 miles to the Hagadorn and Grand River corner of campus. Many people have stayed here over the years and really enjoyed it.
Pricing:
• Single bedroom with a shared bathroom, $185/week
• Extra large bedroom with separate bathroom, loft and private entrance, $225/week
• All utilities are included
• No additional charges or fees
• You pay only for the actual days you need (just pro-rate the above weekly costs)
• Rates are slightly higher if you're staying less than two weeks, or have an irregular schedule (Mon-Thu, alternate weeks, etc.)
The house has high-speed Wi-Fi internet, and a washer/dryer for your use.
Safe neighborhood and quiet at night. Very nice kitchen to prepare meals, with a grocery store 3 blocks away.
I have five years of experience providing short-term space for visitors. You'll enjoy your stay! Better than a hotel and much less expensive.
Non-smoking household.
If you're flying into Lansing or Detroit, I can help arrange transportation to/from the house. Most people who stay here don't need a vehicle. Bike rental available at a nominal fee.
The house is on two of CATA's main bus routes, direct to downtown Lansing, Sparrow Hospital and the Capitol (http://www.cata.org).
